Four!

Happy happy birthday Willa!!!  You remind me of Benjamin when it comes to birthdays.  He was always full of excited anticipation the week leading to his birthday and when we celebrated his face looked just the same as yours trying to contain your joy behind a tiny smile!

I thought your breakfast plate clearly looked like a fox, but you weren't buying any of it.  It apparently  just looked like a messed up pancake with funny placed strawberries!  :)

What a treat it was to celebrate with your cousins being here--and Aunt and Uncle too of course!!

One of my favorite things about this age is the awesome drawings!!  I love the way they evolve from body-less heads with arms to some sort of body and eyes and ears being properly placed and eventually even a smile!  

Your biggest request was a cake with sparkles...ie sprinkles.  Both you and Penny are the same age for a few months before her birthday in April.  Such fun!!

and Fr. Sparling has been there to celebrate you from the get go too!

You are certainly loved Willa Frances Therese!  This year has been full of fun for you including starting preschool, sharing a room with all of your sisters for a short period before Mattie moved into her own room, making wise cracks that have everyone laughing so hard.  You're always so matter of fact when you say things!  You do everything with flair, including your meltdowns.  They are mildly comical only because most times, you can't remember why you're so upset and can't stop crying.  You are one of a kind!  We love you so much.  You are our favorite Willa in the whole world and we are so so glad you were born!!!
