February 2017

I really love it when I get to hold a sleeping baby.  It doesn't happen very often because my babies have always preferred to either sleep in their carseats while moving or need to be laid down in their crib, but rarely fall asleep in my arms.
I also love it when sun shines into a clean room.  This also happens rarely...not the sunshine, but the clean room!!
This is Joe and his mini-me.  She's a gym rat for sure, bouncing from one gym event to the next.
We had to snap this photo because Ben isn't much into keeping trophies and medals.  He's very big on the idea that they don't mean much when everyone gets one just for participating.  We keep telling him that when it says "Champion" on it because he beat everyone, it is totally ok to relish it for a while!
Words?
I just know she's going to change so much that we won't remember how much she changed from week to week in the first year!
Undefeated freshman team.  These guys had such a great season and were super fun to watch.

Celebrating Grandma's 90th birthday.  Josh is absent because he was taking the ACT in Lincoln.  We tried to get it changed to Scottsbluff, but without success.  :(

Not very  many people get to celebrate 90 years, and beside their spouse and with their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.  These two created quite a legacy.

Hmmm...
Life is just good and sweet.

Enjoying an unusually warm winter day outside on the patio.
Baking and making and taste-testing...not something that gets passed up, especially by these two.  Willa scoots the stool over anytime I'm even just standing in this corner in hopes that there will be something to help with and Amelia is eager to help with whatever is going on in the kitchen.
She is a good big sister.  She's a really good big sister.

Happy baby!  Still changing!

Winter is hard.  And long.  And makes her very tired.
